NEW — Aug. 24, 2026: ESPN is raising the prices of its standalone streaming plans on Sept. 17, which is a remarkably traditional way to celebrate the arrival of football season.

ESPN Unlimited will increase from $29.99 to $31.99 per month. The annual plan will move from $299.99 to $319.99, according to ESPN's updated support page.

ESPN Select is going up, too

ESPN Select—the plan formerly known as ESPN+—will rise from $12.99 to $13.99 per month. Its annual price will increase from $129.99 to $139.99.

The increases take effect Sept. 17. ESPN's support documentation lists the new rates directly, so this is not a survey, leak or one subscriber discovering that autopay has developed ambitions.

ESPN Unlimited provides the full lineup of ESPN networks and services without a traditional cable subscription. Select has a smaller catalog and does not include the flagship ESPN cable channels.

Some bundles are staying put

The Verge reports that Disney bundles containing ESPN Unlimited will remain at their current prices. Some bundles that include ESPN Select will increase, so customers should check the exact package named on their account rather than assuming every Disney-Hulu-ESPN combination works the same way.

The standalone Unlimited service launched in 2025 at $29.99 monthly, making this its first price increase. The new monthly rate is $2 higher, while the annual plan adds $20.

No technical upgrade or new programming package was announced as part of Monday's pricing change. Subscribers are getting the same basic proposition, only with the meter nudged upward—streaming's favorite returning series.
