Developing case · November 6, 2026. Police confirmed two murder charges. The outcome of the listed first court appearance was not independently verified, and the reported cause of death is preliminary.

Thames Valley Police say they charged two men on November 5 following the death of Hendon FC midfielder Ezekiel Williams, 26. Williams died in hospital on November 2, a day after he was seriously assaulted in central Milton Keynes, England. The force announced the charges the following morning.

What police have confirmed

In an amended statement on November 6, police named the defendants as Sameull Hussein, 28, and Arman Uddin, 21, and said each faced one count of murder. Both were due at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court that day, according to police and Sky News. Both are presumed innocent. Police said a third man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender had been released on conditional bail while inquiries continued. The statement did not announce a charge against him.

Detectives placed the incident shortly before 2 a.m. on November 1, near The Hub on Midsummer Boulevard. The force said a Home Office postmortem on November 5 indicated a head injury as the preliminary cause of death. Its appeal asks people with firsthand information or footage to give it to investigators. The reference number is 43260570882.

Who Williams was away from the case

Williams joined Hendon in September. In its tribute, the club remembered a midfielder whose generosity and humor made an impression on teammates. The Milton Keynes Citizen reported he had scored his first goal for the club against Jersey Bulls shortly before his death.

The police announcement establishes what has been charged. It does not establish a motive or what either defendant did. The next facts to establish are the court’s first orders and the next hearing date. For related reporting, see the UK case collection.
