The Iron Maiden 2027 tour turns a planned road break into sixteen more North American shows. The band’s October 16 announcement calls this the third and final leg of Run For Your Lives. Steve Harris says the return will reach regions missed by the previous leg, especially the Northwest and Southeast. Retirement-adjacent scheduling has apparently met the heavy-metal exception clause.
The official itinerary starts April 14 at the Tacoma Dome, reaches Vancouver April 16 and Portland April 18, and continues through California, Arizona and Texas. Southern stops include Tampa May 1, West Palm Beach May 2, Atlanta May 5 and Raleigh May 7. Hartford follows May 9 and Belmont Park May 11.
The finale consists of festival headline appearances: Sonic Temple in Columbus on May 14 and Boardwalk Rock in Ocean City, Maryland, on May 16. Bullet for My Valentine and The Raven Age are announced as tour guests. Festival arrangements should be checked through the festival organizers rather than assumed identical to standalone concerts.
The near-term date for fans is October 19: the official announcement puts the fan-club presale at 10 a.m. local time. General sales begin October 23 at 10 a.m. local time, with other presales during the intervening week. “Local” matters here. Your phone’s clock and the venue’s time zone are not automatically the same planning system.
Analysis: the news is a confirmed itinerary, not a rumor assembled from hotel prices and hopeful fan posts. It also concerns the end of this particular tour, not a newly declared end to Iron Maiden itself. The distinction may seem obvious, but the internet can turn “final leg” into a funeral procession before breakfast.
For Gen X fans, the practical problem is less whether Eddie can still fill a room than which date fits work, travel and whatever our knees currently think about standing. Use the official date and ticket links, check the venue before arranging travel, and do not assume an advertised opening price describes the final checkout. The soundtrack is familiar; the calendar still needs reading.
