Kelley Wolf has issued a lengthy public apology to estranged husband Scott Wolf, their children and others affected by her behavior during a severe mental-health crisis.

In an Instagram post, Kelley said doctors diagnosed her with what she described as “breakthrough drug-induced mania with psychosis.” She attributed the episode to a combination of stress, trauma, hormonal changes, hallucinogens and prescribed medications. That description is Kelley’s own account of her diagnosis.

She wrote that she had been delusional and lacked awareness of her actions at the time. The past year included psychiatric treatment, legal conflict and intense public scrutiny surrounding the couple’s separation.

Scott Wolf’s quiet response

Scott responded to the post with heart emojis, a restrained but visible sign of support. Kelley thanked him and their children while acknowledging the pain and disruption caused during the crisis.

The apology does not erase the legal or family consequences, and it should not be treated as entertainment detached from the people involved. What makes the post newsworthy is the unusual degree of accountability: Kelley publicly named the behavior, described her treatment and apologized without asking readers to pretend the damage never happened.
