Noel Gallagher has delivered the most Oasis form of possible news: not an announcement, not a denial, but just enough of a hint to send an entire generation searching for hotel rooms near Knebworth.

Asked about his plans after Oasis’s reunion success, Noel reportedly suggested that summer activity may be coming. British press reports have tied the band to possible 2027 dates at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium and Knebworth, the site of Oasis’s enormous 1996 shows.

Here is the important bit: it is still not official

No dates have been announced by the band in the reporting available Thursday. Venue holds, industry chatter and Gallagher eyebrow movements are not tickets. Fans should wait for confirmation from Oasis or the venues before buying travel from an account named DefinitelyRealBritpopDeals.

Still, the idea makes cultural sense. The 2025 reunion proved the brothers could share a stage without turning the encore into family court, and the original Knebworth concerts became a defining marker of 1990s British music.

For Gen X, Oasis nostalgia is not gentle. It arrives wearing a parka, complains about the price of beer and insists 1996 was ten years ago. A Knebworth return would be both a concert and a mass wellness check for knees that once survived festivals on chips and spite.

Noel’s hint is worth watching. It is not worth calling your credit-card company yet. When the Gallaghers make it official, the scramble will be loud enough to hear without a rumor amplifier.
