The Def Leppard Goo Goo Dolls 2027 tour moves into general ticket sales Friday, October 16, at 10 a.m. local time, according to Live Nation. The Struts are also on the bill. The tour itself was announced October 8; this is the useful on-sale reminder, not an attempt to sell last week’s announcement back to you wearing fresh eyeliner.
The promoter lists 45 North American dates from March 2 through July 2, 2027. The official band schedule begins in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and includes March stops in Detroit, Nashville and Chicago. The routing continues through additional U.S. and Canadian markets. Check the linked official pages for the particular venue and date rather than treating a circulating cropped poster as your personal travel agent.
Live Nation says one dollar from every ticket sold will go to City of Hope. That stated contribution is separate from the total price a buyer pays. The announcement does not provide a universal all-in ticket price, and this article is not promising one. The least nostalgic part of buying a nostalgia ticket remains discovering the final number at checkout.
For Gen X listeners, the pairing crosses adjacent eras of radio memory: Def Leppard’s arena-scale catalog and Goo Goo Dolls’ familiar alternative-pop reach. The Struts add a different generation of theatrical rock performance. That makes the bill more than a single-band reunion headline. It is a touring package designed around audiences who may recognize different parts of the same evening.
Analysis: a familiar catalog can be a reason to go without becoming an obligation to spend. Before joining a queue, decide what the whole evening is worth to you, including transport, accommodation if necessary and the seat you would actually accept. An arena floor map can induce a surprisingly expensive bout of temporary optimism. Nostalgia is not a budgeting method.
Use the band’s official links and the venue’s current information to distinguish a primary sale from a resale listing. Availability, fees and event details may change; this article does not guarantee inventory. If accessibility, seating or travel arrangements are important, verify them with the relevant venue before purchasing. The correct concert is less enjoyable when booked in the wrong city.
The immediate date to remember is October 16 for the general sale, with the concerts scheduled for next year. Fans who want the complete routing can follow the official announcement linked below. The music may transport you back to a different decade. Your calendar, confirmation email and checkout total should remain firmly in the present.
